What is this web site all about?
Well, it's all about me, me, me! Hopefully not in a too indulgent way :-) In truth it is primarily designed for me to try out my web design skills and also to advertise my skills. I aim to make the site fully web standards compliant. The content and design are truly separate to enable quick design changes. Design is under control of an external style sheet and content is in XHTML.
This is my first stab at a home page for myself and to be honest, I am struggling with the design as you can see! This site will undoubtedly undergo many style and design changes until I am happy.
The site is not intended to be a site bout the life and times of me - although there are interesting bits to that story, I find personal home pages along those lines a little self-indulgent and quite frankly dull in a lot of cases.
I have recently re-kindled my interests in photography and will showcase my favourite photos on this site. In the future, if there is enough interest in my photos, I will be making them available for purchase in a variety of formats.
I also have an interest in freelance web projects, particularly in the area of web application programming, design and implementation. I program primarily in C# using Microsoft's .Net framework but I am by no means limited to it. Please view my Web Applications page for more details.
